I am a high school senior with Asperger's. I was diagnosed when I was six, but my parents refused to believe it because they thought it meant a kid rocking in a corner. Since then, I have been called a lot of things, from PDD-NOS to hostile and disrespectful. I found this forum and decided to join when I saw how open and unafraid people here seem.
