I think I posted a similar thread when I was a newbie a few months ago, but I still am, as I only recognize one or two people from when I was here last fall. I guess people come and go on any forum, but even more so on a forum like this.

I'm here mostly to discuss with AS people. According to most of the online tests and my psychologist, I'm not AS at all, but I was diagnosed with an "unspecified condition of the brain" at 8, and at 4 I was solidly AS. I think early treatment can help a lot, though I'm left with some obsessive/manic traits and a propensity for quantitative analysis.

Hello Electricbassguy, welcome (back),

I assume you play electric bass?
I play acoustic (steelstring) guitar
and I love music (of many different sorts) :)

Enjoy your stay on the Wrong Planet!

I used to, for about 4 years, 8th to 12th grade, but I haven't seriously played it since then. I sing more now

Okay, I started playing guitar only a few years ago, but I really enjoy it :) though I sometimes wish I started as a kid, because I will never catch up with people who have been playing for almost all their life.
What do you sing?
I took singing lessons some time ago (and as a kid I used to sing in a choir). I can sing melodies perfectly, but my voice is really soft. I also tried playing guitar and singing simultaneously, really liked doing it and didn't have trouble doing the two together, but when playing guitar you could hardly hear my voice

I like to sing odd songs I make up, though I also enjoy alternative rock, classic rock, and the music i did in choir for college.

There is always time to catch up.
