i just learned about asperger's not 3 days ago, and have to say im shocked that every thing that i know to be me is aspie symptoms. certainly sheds light on why i stare at people like jane goodall studying apes.

starting to understand the wrong planet concept. lucky for me that i the few people i consider close understand and support me, and i live in the sticks where a few shots of whiskey and no one can tell whos who anyway.

id really like to hear about everyones story, post a little something

When I see the way that people act in the real world, I wonder if we're the normal ones, and they're the crazy ones.

^Word

I insisted for years that everyone else was crazy, and that I am perfectly normal.

I still maintain that stance, just with the better explanation about my autism if requested.

I say that I'm the normal one, too. And it's not as insensible as it sounds, after all I am the only baseline I can use and to me most people are rather weird.

I'm another one who's perfectly normal and surrounded by very, very strange people.

I have no illusions that I'm normal. I see what passes for normal every day, and I would never stoop to that level.

I think most of the world is crazy. Why? They should understand our feelings without comparing us to....um....I don't know.

I like being crazy. I enjoy every minute of it. I think if I weren't an aspie I wouldn't be nearly as creative as I am. On the other hand, if I weren't an aspie maybe other people wouldn't seem like aliens to me :P
