I was going to wait on introducing myself to the forum until I get an official diagnosis of AS, but the urge to reply to a post keeps grabbing me as I browse the forum. Besides, I'm 99% sure it's the missing piece of the puzzle that stopped looking for long ago. How else do you explain an 11-year-old girl who collects Pez dispensers and has in her bedroom a menagerie consisting of several very large snakes, a tarantula, a couple of geckoes, and a 4-foot long monitor lizard?
