I'm Martijn van der Kooij. Living in Stadskanaal, Netherlands.

Married with Linda, and having 3 kids, a son of 12, a daughter of 9 and a son of 7. The latter is diagnosed with autism.
I've also 5 brothers, one diagnosed with asperger, another one not diagnosed but very likely also asperger.
Looking back into my family autisme has been around for a long term, some uncles of my father had probably autisme if we now look at their behaviour with the current knowledge. So you could say i've some experience ;-)

But they are wonderfull people!

I will mainly be lurking here. Looking for news etc.

Hi Martin, welcome to WP. I don't mind you lurking but you can join in only any threads you read too. I think the longer you lurk around here the more you learn.
And you're right, they are wonderful people.

Well Amsterdam is probably the expensived area here. But Holland isn't cheap that's for sure.
