I am 19 years old, and only recently found that i had asperger's syndrome. I only went to therapy because my father passed away and she noticed that i get so irritated by social interactions that i see pointless. Like saying hi to someone i just don't see the need. I give them a nod in recognition of what they said. Well um hello to you guys, and at least i know why i always had such trouble in high school which i am about to finish in 2 months.

Also i am evil  not really :D

I understand. I too am very relieved to know what caused all my problems at school, and in the millions of jobs I've had.

"She" - the therapist I think.

I had to read it twice though!

Makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out.

that is exactly right. I do not alway convey information very well, so i am always screwing up explanations. Most of my thinking goes on in my head so when i explain things i sometimes forget to add details that i already know that will make understanding easier.

The Aspie has a knack for verbalizing things in a way, that can be taken more than one way.

There is more than one way to do things correctly so dont beat yourself up.

I read in a book on the question of MENSA.
The super-intelligent child may be in a class and the instructor asks, "of the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 which can be divided evenly?"
The instructor, and the NT children of course seem to only think of 2 and 4.
The super-intelligent child thinks in abstract terms, and replies "All of them." (.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5...) and gets in trouble.

No problem - I do it all the time. And that sentence was a easy mistake to make, such as the following ambiguous sentences:

The lady hit the man with an umbrella.
(Is the lady using an umbrella to hit or is she hitting a man who is carrying an umbrella?)

He gave her cat food.
(Is he giving cat food to her or is he giving her cat some food?)

They are looking for teachers of French, German and Japanese.
(Are they looking for teachers who can each teach one language or all three languages?)

Even reading them back won't always reveal that they can have two meanings. And that goes for NTs as well, so don't worry.
