I want to know the same thing, as well.

Start blabbing away. I'm all ears. I'm a multi-faceted Aspie who can discuss almost everything (if I don't already know) I love to learn new things.

I questioned the moderator days ago, about some of us who are "Animals Lovers" and photography... which category? The moderator said,
Quote:
"Doubtful that such an area would be added, although you are welcome to propose the idea in the WrongPlanet.net Discussion subforum. Alex is the owner and is responsible for forum creation. Random Discussion would be your best fit at this time.

Yup... I have my pet interests, but I've got OLD :) ... and learned to be a little more open-minded to other people's interests.

BTW, I noticed your screen-name is "katzefrau" which translates to cat woman.
Would that be the "Cat Woman" on Batman, or indicative of your love of Felis catus or Felis sylvestris catus, or in some circles, Felis domesticus?

And your Avatar includes an avatar of an elephant.

Me too. I would really like it if there was a forum set aside especially for the discussion of interests. That way there doesn't have to be repeat threads in the GAD forum asking some variation of, "What's your special interest?"

that was amazing.
i couldn't believe it, but Snopes says it's true:

the video's a little misleading: they don't come up with the idea to paint elephants; people draw shapes and they trace them with the paint. still great though.

It would be good if there was a 'special interests' category - I would like to share my interest of natural disasters and extreme weather.

Random Discussion is a good place to start

If you want to discuss something or post about an interest that doesn't quite fit into
any one category on WP try getting a Blog account at Word-Press or Live Journal and
simply post there and simply put the link to it in your signature. If something doesn't fit on
WrongPlanet you could always keep it "in orbit around WrongPlanet" that way.
