Our daughter is almost 18 and enjoys this forum very much. She mentioned it to me and that's why I'm joining. For a long time, I have been interested in issues of capturing helpful knowledge that parents with experience have to be helpful to parents who are new to autism/aspergers. Whether it is something very practical--like things that worked for us with homework, etc. or something more philosophical like--why does it even matter that you label a child, etc. I will always be very interested in children and especially interested in those who need to be more carefully understood, closely responded to, etc.
