Hi. While everyone has always thought I am way younger than my chronological age, I was born in 1967 (and can remember summer 1968 with detail!). Although I read of Asperger's in past years, I didn't see myself in those articles about grown men who loved trains and math. (My interests and talents are in art, music, animals, languages, etc.)I never had a clue about MYSELF until this spring, but it explains everything! (In fact, a number of people who knew me had thought so for years.) Fortunately, I had loving parents who knew enough to send me to a private school, so I did pretty well (despite being considered 'weird but talented' by peers.) Of course I'm going 'Aha' now after self educating, taking various tests and reading many books/web sites on my own, while waiting to afford my official interview/diagnosis. Cheers!
