I've not been officially diagnosed with Aspergers yet, but i have been reffered to a doctor by my school.
When i was told about this, i looked up aspergers on the internet, and it was as if someone had written something about me for a lot of it, my whole life suddenly makes sense.
I also relate to a lot of the experiences described in posts here.

Bye, From SCOTLAND!! !!

I like the years, 1964 - 1968, because that's when the original members of my favourite rock band, were together.

If your school have referred you to the doctor, then they must suspect you have Aspergers. I too, haven't yet been officially diagnosed with Aspergers - though I do have an informal diagnosis of Aspergers from the doctors and I'm awaiting referral to a psychologist for assessment. When I found out - it all made sense and I felt relieved. Anyway, welcome to WrongPlanet, Gearguy!

Hello Gearguy,

Welcome to WP. I've got three sons and the oldest two have Asperger's. The youngest one...they don't know what to make of, but he's not typical. They are wonderful, amazing, and fun kids. I bet it feels good to be getting some answers to why you're a bit different.
