Hi, I just recently found out about this site through Wikipedia (serioiusly, i only heard about this via wikipedia XD)
Well my name's Brian. I'm 23 going on 24, and have only recently been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (within the last 5 - 6 years) after doing extensive research on the disorder (previously I was diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, and stress/anxiety management problems).
Although I've listed quite a few things about myself on my profile, it doesn't quite cover enough of what I like to say about myself.
I'm a big anime fan, only fairly recently (within the last 10 years or so) realizing that the shows I was watching on Toonami were Anime. My current favorites are DBZ, Bleach, Naruto (in manga form), Gurren Lagann, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Outlaw Star, Sailor Moon, and Big O. As you can see I mostly drift towards shonen type anime, but it's not unheard of for me to branch out a bit.
Outside of anime I have a wonderful 6 year old purebred male golden retriever named Bailey. He is the third dog my family has had, and the second successful dog we've had. Our first successful dog being a wonderful female golden-mix named Roxy (she died a few years back, much to my despair, from Kidney failure. She died on election day of the Bush/Kerry election). I'm also an avid reader, some of my favorite books being The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Percy Jackson series, Animorphs, and the Pendragon seires (for those of you who don't know of the Pendragon books, it has NOTHING to do with King Arthur).
Like most people I'm also a big gamer, I do a mix of console, hand-held, and PC gaming. On console, I play Nintendo Wii (as well as Gamecube and other Nintendo systems), hand-helds I have a Nintendo DS (and eagerly await the release of the 3DS), and on the PC I play Lord of the Rings Online (an MMORPG), as well as the occasional flash game. Currently my favorite game series are Metroid, Zelda, Pikmin, and some Mario.

Renal failure is not pretty. I think my dog may be suffering from that but I do not want to talk about that.
You will surely meet people like you here. I know I have!
I have a Wii, but I do not play LOTRO. Maybe I should?
