...each other? I hope as much as I fear. Still ******* scared, frightened & anxious about that.
Haem.

...........

Hi everyone!

first, I have to say that my mothertongue is french & even if I understand english quite well, I may be confused & confusing at writing.

I discovered WP 2 month ago, just as I started to realise that all that strange stuff about me was in fact not THAT strange. There were these friends, the ones who called me MoniBree (do I have to explain?) who changed my Nickname to Sheldonette (TBBT)

As usual, I became completly obssed by my "researches" and felt an astounishing relief. Asperger, a summary of my whole life. It took a week to be able to call a NeuroPsychologist (?) but I did. And I went trough the whole process..?

So I am registering (?) today because I just got the Final Report : Clearly Aspergers or HFA, with ADHD & C-PSTD

I thourght it shall be a great way to start assuming ...

(Again, sorry for my miserable way of (for?) treating your language...)

Congratulations, and welcome to WP! It's funny that you got your diagnosis today, because I also got mine a few hours ago :-)
And I love French - I love to read in French and to listen to French.

Je comprends tout, enfin presque tout si on parle pas trop vite, mais j'ai encore un peu de mal à m'exprimer.

Thank you both!! !

As usual, I was really anxious (well, I don't really care generally, but in this particular situation it means a lot to me :D )

Alexptrans: what was your diagnosis? (Well, I won't say sorry & I won't say I have absolutely no idea of something more acurate to say, my psy disagree with that  )

Comment se fait-il que tu parles français? D'où viens-tu?

My diagnosis was definite Asperger's and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

I speak French just because I like learning languages, and I particularly like dialects of Arabic (I live in Israel right now).

Wow, thanks every one! (May I say that I already felt back home the very first time I discovered WP)

I feel so awkward right now (& this is what I would never ever say in any classical social situation). I played the NT game for the last 29 years, & I just can't try to lie anymore.

No way.

Alexptrans (where does that come from?) ,oh I have OCD as well, (& quite a lot of other stuff).

Ceci dit, je ne vois pas le rapport entre le français et les langues d'origine arabes................?

:P Just a joke - in the states kissing with the tongue is traditionally referred to as a 'French Kiss' - don't know when that got started, but its a very old slang expression. Its also occasionally used to describe a particular variety of oral sex, though its used less frequently for that now than it used to be. I forgot that not everybody calls potato sticks 'French Fries' :D

I think I know exactly how you feel. Playing the NT game can get very tiring.

alexptrans is just a nickname because I work as a translator.

Le rapport, c'est que le français a beaucoup influencé les dialectes arabes d'Afrique du Nord; alors il y a quelques années j'ai commencé à m'intéresser au français aussi.

Willard (don't know how to quote yet):

I've heard about the French Kiss, but not the rest - & I do NOT feel the urge to know^^.

Then, about names & origins (talking about food) you'd be even more confused over here.

Alex"..." si tu veux parler français, tu sais à qui t'adresser!
