Hi, 23/m/uk

I haven't know about Aspergers all that long only a few months when I happened to read a newspaper article and recognised myself. I found this site the other day and have had a look around and can definately relate to everyone else here. I can't see much point in me being diagnosed officially at this age, I am somewhat fortunate in that I am probably one of the less severe cases around, I live by myself, have a job, been through high school and university, moved countries and set myself up again all by myself without too much trouble.
It hasn't been easy but I have been fortunate to get some attention when younger on stuff like motor skills and physical coordination, managed to avoid most bullying or teasing (my main interests tend to centre around stuff like aircraft, cars and computers which was somewhat of an asset during school years) was always seen as either shy or eccentric, made more effort later on to fit in and 'be normal' and developed enough coping measure to get me through most everyday situations and have made it this far and I guess I'm fairly happy where I am and where I'm going.

I have to say it's nice to find somewhere that everyone is on the same 'level', so to speak, though :)
