Welcome Albatross26. I hope you enjoy the forums, I'm still quite new here myself - only joined in the last couple of weeks. I think the keys to posting on a forum are social skills and common sense.

I'm not a Beatles fan btw, I think, "magical mystery tour" is an apt description of life when sometimes you don't know what's going to happen next.

I was diagnosed last year thanks, doesn't it feel like you now have a greater sense of identity and also that some other people are helpful and kind to you just because of your diagnosis? I like that. I was assigned a psychologist immediately, (literally), after my diagnosis and since then my life has changed somewhat. I've been in her social skills group for a good while now and in fact I was one of two founder members.

If you either already have read about the thing I've been doing which I shouldn't have or do read about it whilst browsing this forum please be assured that I wasn't doing it for "badness", I was doing it out of a misunderstanding but now that my psychologist has helped me understand there's much more chance that I'll not do it rather than that I'll do it and hopefully I'll be able to put it behind me soon. I hope you can be understanding about it.

I'm not a bad person - I just got to 26 before being diagnosed and so was very much "in a shell" and not getting the right help before then. Hopefully we'll get along alright.

I'm from Belfast too. I was only diagnosed a year ago (although I knew for a long time before that).
