Greetings,
I recently discovered this forum through Wikipedia when reading about Aspergers, so I took a look around and have already read up on some valuable advice.
I was diagnosed with Aspergers at an early age, and always knew i was a little odd, not had too much trouble with it in school, maintaing a small circle of close friends and ignored the bullies who considered me weird. On the other hand, when I moved to Canada to live with my Dad when I was sixteen, highschool over there was not so good socially, adored the fact that it woke me up to a world beyond computers thanks to hands on stuff like autoshop and woodworking, but though my own shyness and awkwardness, my friendly acquaintances did not last long, part of it had to do with the fact that I was not local, so I didn't push too hard, loved every minute of Canada though nonetheless.
Anyway, I had to come back to England a year ago thanks to the wonders of uncaring bureaucrats and their technicalities and determination to find an excuse to say no.
In terms of interests, I have many:
-I love Warhammer 40k, I play Imperial Guard, Space Marines and Eldar, plus the Imperial Navy in Battlefleet Gothic.
-Classic cars, especially American stuff, fascinates me to no end, along with Jeeps and 4x4's too, also love fixing them too.
-Drawing, I love to draw, often have to tangle with artist's block, but I love to design my own characters and draw fan-art of 40k.
-World War II is also increasingly captivating in my mind with the way tactics and technology changed, the colour photos really hit home how relatively recent it was too.
Well, I hope that wasn't too short/long, this looks like a very interesting forum that I will be visiting on a regular basis.
Regards,
Tammo Korsai
