i'm new i'm an aspie mother of an 8 year old boy who is getting hopefully diagnosed in 3 or 4 months (waiting lists are terrible here in france) and a 1.5 yo girl who is developping confusing NT skills that never cease to amaze me ( she already started to hush my with her tiny finger when she steals her brother's DS...), i was only diagnosed 3 years ago which didn't help anything as my adaptation was done ( i don't think i can do much better now, and to be honest i don't think i care much anymore ) but i'm hoping for a less stressful childhood for my son. I'm decoding some of the schoolyard stuff for him, as much as i can since the memory of kids social interactions is a bit blurry as i was still struggling at the time, but hey i am trying....i'm hoping to find tricks and tips and maybe likeminded friends here, i'm in a relationship with a man who would rather be burnt alive than admit he is anything other than NT, but i chose to live in a different country for financial reasons and this didn't seem to raise any emotional drama, nothing much does, we love each other from a distance ...if he's NT he's a weird one lol.
