My professor mentioned I might have Asperger's syndrome, though I have not been diagnosed nor have I known that professor for more than a single semester. I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder when I was fourteen and a half in a mental clinic called "Woodridge" in Johnson city T.N.. During my teenage years I was deceptive and depressed, therefore the prognosis is invalid. I am not now medicated, have not been medicated for more than three years, and have not hallucinated more than twice. I am certain I do not have Schizoaffective disorder, however, it is possible that I have an disorder of some kind. I only superficially researched Asperger's syndrome, and I have the following characteristics that are symptoms: social awkwardness, intense interest in a specific subject, clumsiness, difficulty interpreting emotions, repetitive motions, tendency to monologue without realizing it, exceptionally early linguistic development. Can you help me understand this syndrome so that I can determine if I have it or not?
