Hello all,
My name's Grace, and like so many others, I am another new face here. I was diagnosed with Asperger's in 2007. In addition to the asperger's, I also deal with Chiari malformation, Raynaud's, fibromyalgia, and some sort of autoimmune disorder (seems to be MS or lupus, although my doctors can't seem to agree on which one). I am a recent college graduate; I got my BA in English with a minor in psychology from a tiny college in upstate NY. Things I enjoy: horses, music, horses, reading, the color purple, horses, and, oh yeah, did I mention horses? Things I do not enjoy: my own social awkwardness, doctor's visits, student loans, mustard.
I have found that since leaving college (and my two gal pals who put up with my awkwardness and kept me from being a total hermit), I am ridiculously socially isolated and feel more awkward and uncomfortable with others than ever. I'm hoping that getting to know others who struggle with similar issues will help somehow. I look forward to getting to know y'all.
