Hi. I'm the mother of a wonderful 3 and a half year old boy on the spectrum. He was diagnosed about 2 years ago with PDD-NOS after I was told by several specialists that there was no way he was on the spectrum. I personally feel that his diagnosis will change to aspergers as he never had any significant language delays and is very intelligent. I adore my son and am extremely proud of him. He's smart, funny, very affectionate (to people he likes) and I am honoured to have him to show me the world as he sees it (as much as he can).

I’m so glad I found this forum. I've visited other forums, but they seem to be mostly for parents, which usually give a one-sided NT perspective. It's great to find a place where I can read about experiences (and have the opportunity to ask questions) which help me understand my son better.
