Let me introduce myself...
I thought I was shy, as a young man I partied less than Rudolph Hess
Then my my replacement arrived, a boy, now 8 with a diagnosis of "mild" autism. I felt different when I was young, now I know why. Therefore, I hereby label myself AS. Hope you don't mind?
Where do I go from here? Do you think an official diagnosis would be helpful. To what end?
I guess I need input! :scratch:

PS I am a newb to forums of all kinds, pls forgive any faux pas.

Do you think a diagnosis will help you in any way? It can be a lot to go through so if you think you're coping pretty well you can stay self diagnosed.
If you want to get diagnosed you need a referral from your GP to see a psychiatrist who will evaluate you and diagnose you.
