Well, I am just going to look around for a while. This is all a bit new (and old) to me so, I still trying to refile a lot of loose papers. I appreciate this is here-- and hopefully, I'll be able to get some more solid footing after recent diagnose. I have my first official meeting with a professional in January (only one person in my town who deals with adults). So, now, I am jsut clinging to my life preserver. It is a bit overwhelming when all the noise starts to actually beome a sound I can understand. So, hello.

I like noise becoming sound part.

I have that with music, the lyrics are all just bblalbalba unless I really pay attention to them or they are very clearly sang.
however, when such song gets recognized by me and if it's a good one, it really is a good one!

it can be used to describe the world quite well also. It's all just noise till you hear little something there and little something there and soon you're getting the hang of it. after that, only the sky's the limit.

I found this website after an "eureka" moment about my stepson, but as I learned more and more about AS I realised that I also had some characterics, quite a few of them, its been a journey of discovery, a little scary but so amazing at the same time, like a veil has been lifted, as finding the pieces of a puzzle.
