Hello everyone, I have been looking at Wrong Planet for some time now but only just decided to actually join, and it would be good to get to know you all. Me, I am a beginning philosopher, and I like history too (especially medieval weapons 
). My Asperger Syndrome is mild, fortunately, but it sticks its hand in every part of my life (metaphorically speaking 
). I also really like classical music, unlike pretty much everybody else I have heard of. I hate bad spelling and grammar, which is unfortunate for two of my best friends in my English class, as one has terrible spelling and the other is dyslexic.
Judging from what I've read and heard, I'm one of the lucky aspies who has a successful circle of friends, who are also in the 'smart yet cool' crowd in my year (although I still feel isolated at times). I am smart (I think) and I can make people laugh easily, although a lot of the time I feel somewhat depressed.
I just finished my level 1 NCEA exams (affects my chances of getting into university) and I though I should start talking on here because I am on holiday for two months (WOO!). Downside is, there's a girl I like 
at school and so I will not be seeing her for some time given my remote location regarding my school 
(might post something on the love & dating section about that...)
So yeah, it would be good to get to learn the ropes around here.
