Hi everyone,

I'm NT and I have a good friend who has AS. I have done a lot of reading up on it and have been spending quite some time in forums and blogs and chatting with a dear friend who has AS. It's been especially the friendship with her that has helped me understand my good friend a lot better - as well as myself!

Hope to talk to you around here some time!

J'aime bien la France! J'étais une échange quand j'avais a peu près 15 ans. Nous sommes allés à Lyon et c'etait fantastique.

Alors, maintenant je peux pratiquer mon francais ;)

If I don't make any mistakes, I read that you are a NT? Right? So, can I ask you why are you interested in Autism or AS?

N'hésites pas si tu as des questions ou si tu veux parler d'un sujet en particulier, ou si tu veux parler un peu français! :)

(Don't hesitate if you have any questions or if you simply want to talk about any topics or want to talk french! Sorry but I don't know absolutely nothing about german :( )

Merci, merci ;) Je pense que je comprenne (subjonctive??? ;) ) tout mais c'est un peu difficile encore penser en francais! Il y a quelques années que je n'en ai pas parlé. (Is this is a more or less correct sentence???)

You are right, I am NT. I'm interested in AS because a friend of mine has it. That friend means a lot to me.
Ever since I have been reading about it in books and on the net (forums), I have made more (online) friends with AS, especially one woman and I have been chatting almost every day. Very nice :)

Merci pour offrir parler avec moi d'un sujet en particulier. :) J'aime parler et écrire les messages, alors ca me plairait! Merci! :)

Yeah, it's quite good :)
For the details:
- "... je pense que je comprends" -> do not use the subjonctive here :)
- "... c'est encore un peu difficile de penser en français..."
- "... Il y a quelques années que je n'ai pas parlé" -> do not hesitate to repeat french: "...que je n'ai pas parlé le français" see?

Well all of these are details, you have a very good memory! :)

PS: I saw that you have cited Joshua Radin "When I find you, I'll find me", so I guess you have seen the movie Adam. As you can see, I love this movie and the music by Joshua Radin is so appropriate! BIG FAN!! !! ! This movie is the best I ever seen about AS and NT relationship.

Adam, I did send you a PM but it seems that maybe it wasn't sent. Because a copy should have been saved in my outbox but there's nothing there. :? No clue what happened. If you didn't get a message, let me know.

BTW, I L-O-V-E Adam, too. Both, the movie and the soundtrack, especially the Radin songs!
