Hey everyone,
My name is Teri. I'm the mom of a 12 yr old son who we think is an aspie. We are in the process of getting him evaluated, but I've done a ton of research and assure you he has Aspergers. Right now he carries a dx of ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, and anxiety disorder.

I have been an Elementray Special Ed teacher for the past 3 years. Next year I'm going to teach General Ed 4th grade, but I'm going to have all the kids who are probably Special needs but didn't qualify.

I am very excited to have found this board. I've been trying to learn as much as possible to help my son get through what is a tough time in his life due to school/Aspie.

I can't wait to share with all of y'all.

My sons name is Joey. I'll be trying to get him to post on here as well.

You'll be fine, just don't expect him to know anything about social stuff.
Be prepared to teach him what might seem to you to be the most basic social skills.
