Thought I'd better say hello.
Name: Jonny EOL (it's up to you what the EOL stands for!)
Age: 25
Was diagnosed with AS in December 2002, though I had my suspicions as far back as early 1999. As you might be aware, it was very difficult to get a diagnosis as an adult, but nonetheless, it was pretty clear-cut in the final reckoning.
In many respects, by the time my diagnosis was confirmed, I'd already self-invented a number of coping strategies. I'm still stuck on a few things, but I'm getting there. I though it was time to swap ideas with others with the same condition.
I'm a goth/industrial/synth-pop/associated music obsessive, watch a fair bit of motor racing, and the rest you'll find out as we go along.
I'm doing admin work for a living, but not for much longer, as soon I'll be an electronic records manager. Maybe I've found my true calling career-wise, as as Aspie-jobs go, this pretty much fits the bill.
