Hi

I've already posted something in the 'Questions about you 2' topic but i just thought i'd say hi.
I'm about 90-95% sure that i have AS or something very similiar and i'm currently waiting for an appointment from a psyciatrist. My doctor pretty much jumped at the chance to refer me, i don't know if that's a good thing or not :(
Anyway, while i'm waiting i thought i'd hang out here, then when i have the appointment i can tell you guys all about it. 8)

Hey Morphia, welcome to Wrongplanet.net!

I was just curious, what specific symptoms do you have that cause you to believe you have AS? Of course, if you don't feel comfortable telling me that....well, then, don't :p

Anyways, talk to you later. Hope you enjoy the site, and you should check out the chatroom.

Hi Morphia, I wish I had a doctor like yours.

I wrote mine a nice clear well-structured letter and he's called mer in to see him face-to-face *shudder*

I've only met him three times since he took over when my original doctor retuired, and each time he's struck me as not understanding me (the three times in question were about my anticonvulsants, and one time his reactuon put me off taking my meds for 2 years.)

I'm convinced he's going to tell me that I shouldn't self-diagnose-to which my reply will be "Well, that's why I'm asking to be tested. I'm not self diagnosing, but I've seen a lot on those sites that relates to me, and want to know if I am, one way or another."

Good luck!

Julie
