Hi there!
I'm new to forums at large. This is the first post I have ever made actually. I wanted to fill in the questioner but couldn't figure out how 
So I'll just tell you a bit about myself. I'm 33 and was diagnosed with aspergers about a month ago. So I'm searching the web for information about pretty much everything pertaining to aspergers in order to better understand my difficulties. I was pleasantly surprised to se that you are all functioning, working, studying and such but I am wondering if I'm in the right forum. I'm not functioning at all it seems. I'm currently on sick leave from a dead beat job and i don't think I'll be working again any time soon. But I would like to go back to school, if I could just decide on ONE subject. My favorite interests are writing, english, animals, photography and medicine (weird deceases and such). But I have been interested in just about everything at one point or another. I played the violin as a child but not anymore and I don't play sports. I like pretty much all types of music and all types of movies, except metal/hard rock and horror movies. Oh and I'm female and live in Sweden. If there is something wrong with the way I posted please let me know. I have no experience with this.

You are at the right forum. (Not all of us are functioning quite so well as it may seem! )
There is nothing wrong with the way you posted your message. 
I was in your predicament when I went to university too. I had many interests, and didn't know how to choose. Having ADHD meant it was also a bit difficult to stick to any choice I did make. In the end, having multiple interests helped me.
My recommendation is that you pursue and specialise in two or three things rather than in only one. It can give you an advantage in a job situation later. The variety of my skills (graphic art, database programming, illustration, editing and lecturing, with an understanding of Project Management) are ALL used in my work.
I would not be able to work so effectively, though, if I didn't have such a good (non-aspie) manager.
I hope these forums help you as much as they helped me when I first discovered I am an aspie.

OK, you've got to explain this joke to me.
I'm an aspie, I don't always get things! Ok, sorry to thread hijack, but I know this answer. He's quoting a cartoon show from the mid 1990's called "Animaniacs". The Animaniacs were named Yakko, Wakko, and Dot and they looked sort of like those old 1930's "what the heck kind of animal is that anyway" cartoons. Anyways, they meet Beethoven through some cartoon mishap and this is one of the gags. The joke is that pianist sounds like another word that you wouldn't *ahem* generally say on television. It's a word gag. G'night everybody is what Yakko says whenever someone says something "adult themed" in the show. I loved the show, but never thought much of that particular joke myself.
