Hello everyone -

I just joined this forum and hope it to find some useful information in here. I was diagnosed with ADHD, GAD, social anixety, and recently my therapist mentioned a good possibility of me having AS as well. I never would have guessed that I would be dealing with something from the autism spectrum as well, but after doing some of my own research on it, I found that I could relate to a lot of the symptoms. A couple of the things that gave me away was the inability to pick up many social cues and my facial tics. I am 41 now and can't help but wonder what my life would have been like if I was diagnosed during childhood rather than this late in life.

Good to meet you. I do relate to your words as I have had only a suggestion of AS by a counselor but wonder what would have happened if there had been more help years ago. :?

I do hope you enjoy the forums, Heefman. I have just joined and am finding my way around.
