My name is Chris and I'm new here. I am not diagnosed, but am otherwise confident that I do have Asperger's. I have always known that something was different about me, and have often struggled with social situations Particularly understanding non-verbal communication and when the things I am saying are inappropriate.
I'm from the United States, but I grew up overseas. When I was seven years old my mother married a Libyan and we moved to Libya where I lived for the next 14 years. I'm bilingual in English and Arabic. I recently tried to get back to my family, but I can't get a visa.
I'm pursuing a career in nursing. I just completed my CNA training, but am waiting for the holiday break to end so I can pass the state exam and receive my license. I do plan to advance to LPN and eventually RN over the next several years.
Things I like include Transformers, Star Trek, fighting games (Tekken, Street Fighter, etc...), Marvel and DC.
