Hello all. Hope that you let me stay 
I stumbled across this site whilst researching pronoun confusion in kids with autism. As you might guess, I'm a special ed teacher.
I'm not on the spectrum myself (that I know of - even neurotypicals can seem like we belong on the spectrum at times!) but I have to say that when I saw the domain name of "wrong planet" it really struck a chord with me, because I've often felt I don't 'fit' on this planet. Conversely, I feel like I 'fit' very well when hanging out with my kids with autism. I feel that when I hang with people with autism, I can let my nerdiness hang out and that obsession (I like to call it passion 
) is accepted and appreciated. In short, I like their style
So anyway, I guess I'm here because it might be the "right planet" for me, and hopefully to learn things that will help me to see things through my students' eyes a bit better
