you should try the chocolatecoated ones on a stick, dunc - the stick makes them easier to hold and stops them escaping, and the chocolate helps the fur go down a bit easier (it can be a bit tickly on the throat, otherwise).

Have you tried the chocolate chip double-squirrel muffins they sell at Asda Morgvis???? Mmmmmmmmm delicious.

no i haven't, melvis. actually, i'm only a muffin type of person on certain occasions. i think it's something to do with the word "muffin" - it makes me feel all funny. strange, really, cos many people have said they thought i'd be a muffin kind of woman.

Ok, number one, I requperate squirrels that have been injured by hunters and release them into the wild. I have around 100 squirrels withen 100 yards of my house, sevral of them I've raise from babys, I also have a couple of domesticated squirrels that are albino.

Whenever I see a squirrel, it makes me want to scream.

Read my post from "AS and Animal Welfare" to understand why.

Normally, I love animals. But these squirrels are really getting on my nerves. They just stand there and stare you down.

It's nice that someone is helping squirrels...

That said... we have overpopulation here... do they go best with honey garlic or barbecue sauce?

What herbs would go best?

I have never seen a squirrel before as you don't get them in New Zealand.

They look kinda cute, but do they carry disease or anything? Are they considered a US pest?

I think they look awesome, but son't know enough about them to determine what I think of them.

We have a few squirrels here in town. They run away from people, so you have to watch them through the window from inside the house.
One summer we had a drought and they dug up and ate all my tulip bulbs!
Usually they're cute to watch as they chase each other around the tree trunks and up over our wooden swing set.

Squirrels are great! I have a couple of peanut feeders for them, in a good position for me to get pictures of the visitors. Some of these pictures (from my previous home) are posted at my website http://scoogy.com under the section "backyard wildlife." Lots of new pics, I made a quicktime slideshow/movie of some of them. I find it very restful and soothing to watch them, can do it for hours.

If a grey squirrel is captured for whatever reason over here (injury etc) then you're not allowed to release them back into the wild because they are not native to Britain and have made native red squirrels endangered.
