Hi everyone,
I new to the boards. Isn't is such a good thing that a place exist, where people 'like us' (Pff, that sounds so crazy) can ask for advice and help each other?
I'm a 23-year-old Literary History student, I'm a girl and I have Asperger's. After a long line of misdiagnoses and some questionable therapists, I finally found one that happened to specialize in the spectrum, I realized what my personal ways of being really mean.
As far as Asperger's goes, I seem to have some trouble with perfectionism, social situations (wherein I don't stop talking), being honest about my emotions (if I can analyze them properly) even when it's awkward. I'm always up for a laugh or a sincere conversation and I enjoy exploring the way others deal with their autism.
I would LOVE to correspond with anyone interested. I don't care what you want to talk about (but let's keep things nice ), I'm just happy to talk to people who understand me better than those around me. Send me a message if you want to tell me about a ridiculous book cover you just saw, or a crazy thing that happened on the way to the grocery store .
