Hi! My name's Rachel and I'm 16. I was diagnosed with Asperger's between the ages of 3 and 6. I don't know exactly when because my parents decided it would be better for me if I didn't know I was 'different'. A few months ago my mom finally admitted that I was an aspie. I feel a lot better now that I actually know my diagnosis because my entire life I've always blamed myself for being so different from everybody else. So...yeah. That's my story.

what do you think of that recent "parenthood" nbc program dealing with asperger's syndrome in children?
