)Yes, actually, it does. I once had it in my head to make a unique package based on FreeBSD to suit my own needs in terms of applications, but eventually I abandoned the project and made a little Ubuntu-based package that contains applications and settings that I need instead. It was more efficient to do it that way, since Ubuntu is more equipped to handle such pursuits, and it overall required less effort. An added benefit is that I also now have a LiveCD with this on it, and can also fit it onto a flash drive, which I found considerable difficulty doing in FreeBSD.

I used to muck around with OpenBSD when I was doing security related work. At that time I thought it had a better packet filtering and NATing type of arrangement than Linux, and of course a general focus on security.
