A while ago, I found an article on autism in some magazine and read it because the topic generally interested me...

I didn't know that by doing so, I would be able to strike a chord within myself that I have been searching for for 24 years now.

I don't have much time atm, but I will introduce myself a little better in the near future.

i got the name from an old jane yolen book "sister light sister dark", where women have a counter part that only appears when the moon is out. sedaka was one of these counter parts.

The only Sedaka I have ever heard of is the 1960s and 70s singer Neil Sedaka.

hmmm.... i just googled sedaka and sho nuf... all i get are pics of this old guys sweatin and singing.... lol... was he any good, as a singer? what style/genre? (excuse me if he's someone that I should know, i'm clueless about many of these types of things)

I suppose you could call Neil Sedaka the Justin Timberlake of his day. His early stuff was light and fluffy pop music that I never liked. His later stuff was the same style, just better.

He probably ranks in the low 900s in my top 1000 list of favorite recording artists, but I won't hold that against you.
