I created an account here because I couldn't help but want to respond to a particular post that I stumbled across.

However, that said, it has been a speculation among friends and family throughout my entire life as to whether or not I'm a functional autistic. My sister seems pretty convinced that I have Tourette's Syndrome. I won't go into details about my condition. I'm barely functional as a member of society, but I make do.

So, this is me.

Thank you folks. I'm finding this place to be of singular fascination to me. It's amazing how much I can relate to most of what's posted and talked about. I have the distinct impression that I've been managing an undiagnosed (and it will stay that way for the foreseeable future) Asperger's Syndrome all my life.
