And my daughter, 12, has AS.
She was finally diagnosed last year but prior to that they thought it may have been ADHD and had her on meds for that.
Right now she is med-free and we don't see much of a difference from when she was on meds for AS but she has regulary therapy sessions and is beginning some physical therapy for her lack of upper body strength.
She has been known to be clumsy, has stimming sessions, sensitivity issues (hates her hair being brushed), and a host of other issues.
It's nice to find this board which showed up in a search on Normal People Scare Me.
