Um, Hi. I'm new here. I'm an aspie, at least I seem to fit the symptoms but no one believes me.

Um, anyway hi.

Hello Discarded Whisperer
I am new here too.
I had a lot of trouble getting a diagnosis for Aspergers - I had to really fight for it, which made my mental health worse. I had to change doctors a few times before I was told that there was a world class diagnostic clinic hiding round the corner, which I could be referred to. Once I got through the door, I was diagnosed in an afternoon.
An accurate diagnosis by professionals who understand you and really want to listen to you is worth fighting for even if you have to change doctors (although I don't know if that is possible for you, because I don't know how your health system works).
I hope things pick up for you...
