Hi everyone. As you can tell, I'm new. I'm 19 years old and was diagnosed with Asperger's around a year ago. I've never had a friend before, partly because of Asperger's and partly because I live in the middle of nowhere. I'm hoping to find some friends for once here. It's depressing being alone all the time. I'm not very good with forums but I'll try my best. Please feel free to pm me, I need any friend I can get.

Hello. It is very nice to meet you. I'm twenty. I have had quite a few friends (I think) but none of them really seem to stick with me. Honestly...I am not sure if any of them were actually my friends or were just talking to me because I was interesting (weird). Once my "friends" get used to me they tend to stop talking to me. Anyway, I am rambling. Feel free to send me a message or something. I agree, it is quite depressing being alone all of the time.

Hi there wonderful young people. My son, who is 7, was diagnosed a year ago as well. I am here to learn about what it's like to live with Asperger's. I get so frustrated with him at times and I cannot tell what is behavioral and what is just part of who he is. Do you have any advice for me as a mom? I want to understand him so badly. I think he too feels lonely, but he doesn't tell me that. I am new to this Forum as well. Thank you!! !! !
