Greetings to everyone on Wrong Planet

I will introduce myself as I am a new member here. I am from the West Country in England, I am in my twenties and was recently diagnosed as having Asperger syndrome. I have felt different all my life and have always found it hard to fit in socially. It’s not all bad though, as my special interests have helped me to become very good at science and drawing and I have even won some prizes for these things.

I am very interested in biological systematics, especially phylogenetics and learning about the evolutionary relationships of different organisms. I also like animals, especially cats.

Hopefully I will fit in okay here.

Hi and welcome!

Evolution is one of my "special interests." I even wrote a song about it! I also love cats. Have you heard of that book All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome? I'm not sure if that's true, but I know I do relate to them in some ways better than I do to other humans.
