right in the middle, as a matter of fact, Urbandale IA...which is a suburb of the capital city, Des Moines. I'm 40 years old, unemployed (for three years next month), and was diagnosed two years ago as having PDD-NOS. I at first thought I had Asperger's Syndrome, because so many of its characteristics (specifically: above average ability with dates...for example, most people know that the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11, 2001....I, on the other hand, will say it was attacked on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at 8:46 in the morning (Eastern Daylight Time.) I also can quote entire scenes, and in some cases, entire movies, from memory). However, the psychologist who evaluated me told me that while I do have some characteristics of Asperger's, I don't completely "fit" the profile....(but, isn't profiling wrong?

I came here looking for discussion, information, and people I can have something in common with, and hope to have several meaningful discussions. XD
