Ciao, I'm an Italian girl. I'm not autistic, I joined this forum because I'm intrested about this subject.
I don't think I'll post a lot, because, as you can see, I can't speak english very well :oops: ...

and your english is bene. there is an old story about a foreign tourguide showing foreign tourists around famous american places, and the tourguide tells the tourists, "don't worry about your english, the americans don't speak english so well themselves."

maybe then you can tell me, in the leoncavallo operetta "i pagliacci" - is this sung in italian or some dialect of italian such as sicilian? just curious, that is my favorite. i especially like its final aria "vesti la giubba."

Not too many, to be true. It's quite rare young people know and like opera. I admit I don't like it.
