And I feel like a some what different person than who the last 'robo37' was.

So yeah, my name's Robin Powell, I'm 16, been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and Depression, am from around Liverpool, I'm an atheist, I'm heterosexual, I'm a vegetarian, I make music using my guitar, my keyboard and my laptop, I'm currently looking for a band, and I like to also express my creativity by drawing/using the program paint and writing stories sometimes, and I too like intelligence as a whole. I'm hugely against war, abortion, animal testing, farming, discrimination of pretty much any kind (for example, I'm against the way the vast majority of people treat or think of pedophiles. It's not their fault they're attracted towards children - they just need a bit of help), and I'm also against Punishment. I dislike mainstream stuff and I dislike the way most people tend to 'sheep' around others, and not think for themselves.

I'm still hugely into music, but my current favourite bands are now Nine Inch Nails, Tool (and A Perfect Circle and Puscifer), System of a Down (and Serj Tankian and Scars on Broadway), Radiohead (+ Thom Yorke), Korn, Black Light Burns, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Porcupine Tree, Aesthetic Perfection and ohGr. I also like Mindless Self Indulgence, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabain, Blur, Gorillaz, The White Stripes, The Cure, Nirvana, The Pixies, Gotye, Placebo, Martin Grech, Android Lust, Machines of Loving Grace, The Blood Brothers, Coil, Beethoven and some stuff by Linkin Park, Slipknot, Disturbed, Dope and Marilyn Manson.

I like to look at dark and surreal artwork, and I'm also into video games, advanced board games, and films.

My favourite video games are The Legacy Of Kain series (with one of the two main characters, Raziel, pictured as my profile picture), The Darkness, Bioshock, The Oddworld series, The King's Field series, Martian Gothic: Unification, The Doom series, The Medieval series, The Fable series and the Elder Scrolls and the Fallout series. I prefer games with good storylines and I hate games like the Call of Duty one, the idea of playing a game were you kill people for fun disgusts me.

Board games that I like are Doom: The Board Games, Talisman, and Twilight Imperium.

My favourite films are A Clockwork Orange (my personal favourite), Donnie Darko, the Alien series, the Terminator series, and Batman Begins. I haven't seen many films I'm afraid, which is way I've listed no obscure films, but yeah basically I mainly like films that are dark.

I don't watch a lot of television, but I do like Ren and Stimpy and Tourchwood. I've also sent suggestions for questions to use for the new series of QI, the 'I series', which they said they'll use. A lot of the suggestions are about numbers which they said they're putting into a part of the series which will be about imaginary numbers.

Science and Mathematics are subjects that very much interest me. I'm very much fascinated by namely the brain and space.

I haven't read many books, the only one I can mention that I like is Of Mice And Men which I had to read for English in school. It's not that I don't like reading books, I've just never really got around to reading any.

I'm currently in a phyciatric ward for attempting suicide a few times and I'm on the antidepressant Fluoxite, and I'm on my Easter holiday at the moment and I'll be on leave for most of it, being at my Mum's or Dad's house. I might soon be moving to a residential care home in Sunderland for people with Asperger's Syndrome, called ESPA, soon.

I'm feeling very lonely at the moment, with no friends, no siblings, no girlfriend and I really struggle to talk to my mum or dad about about anything serious. :/ I am, though, meeting up with a girl with nearly identical interests on Sunday, but I don't know in what way she likes me. I'm approaching this cautiously as every time I've fallen in love with a girl so for it's ended in my emotional and mental agony. I'm also feeling very detached from reality, with no confirmation that anything's real but the image printed on my retina, the vibrations in my ears and the signals in my brain, and this very much depresses me. Furthermore, I'm developing a kind of cold hatred towards the way the world works, and that's also awful to cope with, so no things aren't looks very good for me at the moment.

And finally, hello Wrong Planet.________________________________________________________________________________________________________Sorry about the huge post.

Maybe it's existensial depression, it's rather frequent with brainy teenagers. (Not "normal" teenagers though, mind you.) More so, being isolated must greatly contribute to feeling detached from reality.
I also get this kind of hatred for the world, the world suck so much. :(

Hello Robin! Welcome back, although I don't think I was here when you were here before... I can relate to a lot of the things you wrote there. Like the thing about paedophiles - I feel exactly the same. Although it is difficult to say such a thing in 'normal' company because of people's knee-jerk overreactions etc!

Anyway, I live in Sunderland. If you are going to be moving here and need any tips and pointers about the city, let me know and i will be happy to help.
