Revisiting after very long absence

Hi all,

I came back to Wrongplanet after being away for a few years.

Asperger's became a fixation for a while (ha! suspect that's pretty common), and once I'd worked out what was going on in my head, and how to cope with things, and the fixation passed, I drifted off elsewhere, but realise that there are things to read here that I miss out on, and think it's a good idea to come back.

Basically I learned that I definitely have Dyspraxia, but I seem to have more of the cognitive co-ordination problems than "developmental co-ordination disorder" proper, sensory processing (auditory and visual, primarily), and issues with social functioning, BUT my Autistic traits only really become pronounced when I'm bordering on overload. Otherwise I seem like any other slightly awkward geeky person!

So do I have Asperger's? Probably, but it would depend on the person doing the assessing as I think I am a borderline case.

I don't really know the relevance of this post. Just saying hello I suppose, and trying to explain why I'm here.
