Hi, I'm Danny from Wisconsin. A member of AVEN referred me--you might know her as shadowgirl. Since we found each other on AVEN (we're both asexual Aspies), she told me about this place and said the community here was great.
As I stated in my bio, most of my friends are female, even though I'm a guy. And all my best friends are non-normal girls. Internally, I sometimes wish I was a girl, but then my friends tell me that they wish there were more guys like me. I just have a hard time connecting to most guys.
I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 9 and ADHD when I was 7. The "cure autism and Asperger's" thing is driving me nuts because Asperger's in a large way defines who I am.
I am studying computer hardware in college, and I am trilingual (English, Spanish, and American Sign Language). I just went through a harsh breakup that was in part due to my asexuality. The full story is on AVEN...

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to find more people I have stuff in common with! 
(PS: I use this user name on every forum I'm active in these days, and I use this avatar or a similar one everywhere too, so if you think you've seen me elsewhere, you're probably right.)

Yeah ... me either. I always do better if I can carry on as if we had been friends forever when I meet someone. Hope that works for you. Lots of interesting people, here.
