Hi. Nice Avatar.

One of my favourite sites for illusions and anomalies of perception:

http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/

Not, perhaps, for those with visual stress issues.

Hi, CockneyRebel

I remember you, too, Emettman. Perhaps everyone might recall me better with this:

This one's pretty kewel. http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/mot_bounce/index.html

I was paying more attention to the general outline of the balls and thought they were all bouncing off each other, noise or not. But then I read the description, looked closer, and saw the illusion.

But this one though http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/mot_miss-fund/index.html they look like they're both moving to the left no matter how I view it. Shucks! My illusionary vision isn't working. :? It only looks like it's moving to the right if I view it with my peripheral system.

Hi, I remember you. I wondered where you'd gone, actually!

I don't get your avatar - all I see is an old woman. I take it there's meant to be something else too, from the posts about optical illusions?

Does this mean you've become more two-faced? (Ducks)

It could just be the frame/screen refreshment rate. I'm not getting it as well as many of the others.

Same here! Increasing the speed for the second one didn't work.

Yes... No... Maybe... Perhaps?

Or maybe I've become less Bean... or an old woman and a young woman...

Hey Sophist! I was really starting to miss your posts around here. Nice to see you again.

Regarding her avatar: Maybe Sophist chose it because she's mature on the outside and can handle things like a very mature adult (the 'old woman' on the avatar), but maybe her Asperger's has made her socially immature (the 'young woman', if you can see it, on the avatar). I don't really know; I just like thinking about some things sometimes.

She's turned away from you. Her chin is the old lady's nose. The old lady's left eye is her ear. The old lady's mouth is a choker necklace.
