Hi, I`m Fiona -please call me Nona- and I`m new there.
I`m fourteen and I`m from Switzerland.
I know, I`m not sooo old, but please do not estimate me because of my age. I would say I`m not the typical fourteenyeard old. :P
I`ve a passion for books, when I`m true, than I`ve like 150 books in my room.
I ever try to be funny but I am not. You will see.
So what could I say about me more? I don`t know.
If you have questions so ask. But attention, I bite

Nona

Welcome to WrongPlanet!

I hate people judging me by age, as I'm not the typical sixteen year old...
Hope you enjoy your time here :)

Hey, Im Brianna. I'm not the typical 15-year-old, and I'm not just saying that. I'm new too, but I'm sure you will be welcomed!

Hello and welcome to WP.

From Switzerland, eh? I've always fancied going there - the Swiss have a real democracy, unlike our own. :)

@sraddha I prefer historic books. Most of them are in german. But some in orginal english one i liked is "The Geisha". I like Meg Cabot too. Then "Harry Potter", and my big favorite is Jay Ashers "13 reasons why". Yeah, a castle would be sometimes very good. Now I know what I want for christmas

@TB Yep, I am some. But i swear, not only because of that. Teenager forgive you books, but a very own humor is something really different...

@Xaisede Hi Brianna, so in wich wy aren`t you different? Just tell me a little bit about that, please! :)

@Tequila Yes, I `m swiss. Not proud, but swiss. But I was born in Texas. Swiss hasn`t right deomcraty. There just nine persons who make everything. We choose some people and they choose this nine persons. Is a little bit weird. So you`re from UK? People so often tell me, I would look english because of my ginger hair so something UK sounds in a funny way familiar for me.

@ScientistofSound So which are you favourites? Or do you find all equally?

@ All others Thank you for the warm welcoming. I have the inkling, that I will writhe much here...

Hello and welcome to WrongPlanet.

I had more than ten thousand books in my personal library until 1995 when I moved a hundred miles away to be with a woman I met on a BBS (kinda like a forum / game site in the earlier days of the internet). In the move I halved my collection, partly for convenience and partly because since I had the internet I didn't need as many).

I moved again a couple times in that town, each time reducing the number of books as more sources became available on the internet. My greatest reduction was in moving from California to Oregon. In the cold winter of 2006-2007 I was living in a big barn on a riverfront property in Oregon while waiting for a place to rent that would accept pets (we wouldn't give up our dog or cats). I actually burned a few hundred of my books to stay warm. Of course I was very selective as to which books went into the stove!

In Oregon I moved a couple more times. The last move (May 2010) I reduced my book collection even more, since nearly all of my reading these days is from sources on the internet. I only have about 1,500 books now.
