Hi, my names Anthony and I'm 24 yo from new jersey. I am almost 100% sure I have Asperger's! I have discussed this with my mom and she agrees. I cannot seem to find a place to get a diagnosis tho. I have tried a bunch of places and are now forced to look into the private psychologist area. I didn't know there are so few resources for adults in my area. When Brick Township is thee most resource rich area for autism. I now know that applies to children lol Here is a few facts about myself. My mother and brother are in prison. Mom for 3 years, and little bro for 8 years for armed robbery. Sister is a heroin addict raising a kid while getting high. Mom has been using heroin for 12 and still going. I'm so proud lol I'm on disability, and as if life isn't hard enough with my family, I have to deal with Asperger's! Being my family is so dysfunctional, they don't understand and redicule me for it. Calling me ret*d and distancing themselves from me. So I am on my own in a world that I cannot fit into, with no guidance, and only 2 friends that I had from childhood. Hopefully there is something on this site for me to help even the slightest bit. Whether it be resources, someone who understands, or just someone to talk if need be. Regards

@tenpencepiece, no I am far from a ret*d! Its funny cuz I am smarter then all of them by far! It my communication/social skills that's ret*d. Thy are just messed up drugs addicts that enjoy making people miserable! But thank you!
