My name is Paul just diagnoses with AS at 26. Always knew there was a better explanation as to why i did not fit in then ADHD. got diagnosed with ADHD when I was 8. They just seemed to jump to that conclusion. but now that I got a proper dinog it seam to make everything make sense. Now it trying to get my family to understand how i feel and think. That's not going well.

It never will, mate. NTs just don't have the capacity to understand what it's like not to have what they take for granted.

Stick to it, though. They're your family - they have to be on your side.
