Hi ya

I am Mum to my 14 yr old son, diagnosed with ADHD and HFA/Asperger's (they weren't sure as he is hearing impaired too) so they have said he most likely has Asperger's. We finished the ADI interview last week and the PDoc says he thinks our daughter, 6 yrs old is also on Autistic spectrum. His words were she is a complex case so I am bracing myself for a multiple diagnosis with her too.

I guess I am floundering, realizing I have 2 children on autistic spectrum. So I thought I'd get online and try find resources and hopefully meet other parents who may have more than one child on the spectrum.. I honestly didn't think I would be as devastated as I have been, it has really affected me knowing both children are affected.

I don't want to whinge too much as I love both my children to bits and wouldn't trade them for the world.

welcome to wrong planet. I am a 48 year old woman, and a mother of 2 sons, ages 9 and 21. The 9 year ols is currently going through tests and is suspected of having aspergers, I suspect my 21 year old son also has it. I have it and so does my husband. We are a family full of aspergerians ! lol
